The Joy of Analysis Development
The past decade has seen a explosion in the tools available for creating analyses and deliverables. However, recognizing that field as its own type of programming -- analysis development -- has lagged behind. In this talk I'll discuss the history of the tools, the current state of the art, and most importantly the joy I see when data scientists and analysts begin to understand programming principles in their work.
